Well it has been a couple of years since I updated this. Been doing most of my posts on facebook but thought it would be fun to come back to this. I am in the process of making some big changes in my life. I am resigning from Girl Scouts and going back to school. I am going for a bachelors degree in health science. I then either go into physical therapy or sports medicine. I have a few years to decide on that one. I am very excited to have a career with helping people.

Anissa and Brian are busy as well. Anissa has been playing on a traveling soccer team. They haven't won any games yet, but they are improving all the time and will win soon. Hopefully the coach, that just stepped up, will stick around for awhile and give the girls a chance. Anissa is also a great artist. She and Brian have been taking weekly art classes in town and are loving every minute of it! They are both almost done with school for the year. We still all love homeschooling. Brian has worked really hard and will be on grade level at the start of next year.

We have bought a new camper but can't use it until the weather cooperates a bit. It is no fun to camp in the snow! Well, that is about it for now.

Denver Zoo

We went to Colorado for the 4th of July and I took the kids to the Denver Zoo. We had a great time and the kids had lots of cousins to play with.

HAPPY EASTER, EVERYONE!!
The kids are showing off what they got for Easter. However, they could not show the biggest present. They got a trampoline with encloser, but there is still too much snow outside to put it up! Too bad there is still snow in the forcast. I hope it rains and melts the snow!

We made Easter Bunny cakes and I let Anissa and Brian decorate their own. They did a pretty good job for their first time. This one is Anissa's and the next picture is Brian's.

Easter Egg Fun!

Here are some pictures of the kids decorating their eggs. We get farm fresh eggs and decided to use a sand art kit for eggs instead of coloring them. We were not sure if the color would take on brown eggs.

They both surprised me by not making a big mess and had a lot of fun.

Jeremy is warming up the little 4-wheeler for the kids. Well, that's his excuse for riding it anyway. He looks so silly that I couldn't resist posting a picture of him!
Anissa and Brian finally got their bikes out of the ice to ride. It was fun to finally enjoy some warm weather!!

Brian loves to play in the dirt, but decided that the mud will do just fine.

Just when we thought spring would be a nice change, it decided to snow today. The pictures above were taken on Sunday, the 22nd and I took the next two today the 25th.

It has snowed even more since I took these. There is a good six inches on the ground now with no signs of stopping. I can't wait to see what this weekend brings! (Ha, Ha, Ha)

Yesterday, Anissa turned 10 years old!! I can't believe how fast she has grown.
We didn't have a big party. We went to the movies and saw Bedtime Stories. Then we came home and ate some banana cake. Her most favorite cake.
Here, Anissa is playing her new DS game, Petz Bunnyz. We all had a great day.

Visiting the cousins

We took a last minute trip to Colorado and stayed with my sister and her two kids. All four cousins had a great time playing together.

Brian is stylin' with his frog socks, grey shorts and red long sleeve shirt with Rowdy keeping watch.

Chance and Morgan pose for a quick picture while Anissa and Brian hide from the camera.

Anissa is telling her cousins how to play online with their new Webkinz. I know my sister just loves me for introducing them to Webkinz!!
